Diplomystus Dentatus #Dip-2-sc16
These great fish are Diplomystus dentatus. Diplomystus has the body form and mouth placement of a surface feeder, and is thought to have been a predator of smaller surface-feeders such as Knightia. Indeed, specimens of Diplomystus have been found with Knightia lodged in their mouths, a classic demonstration of a predator caught by its prey! This fish has no restoration and makes a stunning display piece.
