Diplomystus Dentatus #Dip5-ss15
These great fish are Diplomystus dentatus. Diplomystus has the body form and mouth placement of a surface feeder, and is thought to have been a predator of smaller fish such as Knightia. Many specimens of Diplomystus have been found with Knightia lodged in their mouths, a classic demonstration of a predator caught by its prey! This fish has no restoration and makes a stunning display piece.
