Bison occidentalis is a rare and extinct species of bison that lived in much of North America from about 11,000 to 5,000 years ago, spanning the Pleistocene to the mid-Holocene. This massive skull measures over 30" across. It has a beautiful black coloration and is a truly stunning skull. These are very difficult to come by, as they were less common than other bison species.
