Ca. 1526-1857 AD, A nice example of Mughal Iron Katar Dagger. This type of weapon, native to India, used to deliver quick, unexpected thrusts. A special feature is the transverse handle that separates the blade from the user's hand and the straight and sharpened blade on both sides. It was a lethal weapon because of the comfortably seated hilt, making it easier to deal stronger and faster blows than with a dagger. Size: L:450mm / W:75mm ; 300g Good Condition
